I would walk into a place - any place (still do), see a guy that I liked, give him "the eye" and BAM! Within a few minutes, he'd be walking over and saying "hi". If I continued to "bait him" the chat would end with him asking for my number and seeing if there was a time we could hang out.

Do you have a screening process?

Do you just look for if he's hot? If you guys have something to talk about or something in common?

And THEN you decide whether you want to go out with him or not?

Maybe you don't even think about the "chemistry or hotness" factor anymore because you've been burnt by guys that you were attracted too and now you're fine with "Hmm...He seems nice, I'll give him a shot"?

It doesn't have to be like this anymore.

See, there's more to Screening Men than you are probably doing now.

Within a very short time you can decide, right then, without even an exchange of phone numbers, whether you want to date this guy or not.

After all, usually you HAVE TO make this a quick decision, because if you're meeting a guy out at a bar, or at the gym, or at a speed dating event you ONLY have a few minutes to decide... "do I like this guy? Do I want to give him my number?"

You don't want to miss your chance when you're right there...right?

But then once you give him your number...once you "got him" what do you do with him?

Do you go on a few dates and then the guy ends up in the "Not Sure Zone?"

This is what I call the situation when you go on a few dates with him - and you're STILL NOT SURE if you really like him or want to take the relationship to the next stage or not....

I see this all the time.

The confusion.

The fear of letting him go because it may turn into something....and the disappointment with keeping him around because he's not making you totally happy.

Sure, I'm proud. Hell yea, I'm proud of it. It's always fun to see your name in print or your face on TV - - but the reason why I tell you this is because I know my stuff - and I'm excited about helping you in your dating life!

Now, this didn't happen overnight. It's been a long time coming.

See, about a year after I graduated college I landed a job as a Matchmaker with Warner Brother’s TV on their weekly series Change of Heart.

Do you remember that show?

It was an amazing experience and I had fun meeting loads of singles, setting them up, and giving them tips on how to hit it off.

As I was doing that I "unofficially" started my Dating Coaching Business (I became "the Love Guru" - hey, it's a fun name, don't you think) and started my company Metro Event Planners.

So the story continues... (I know, it's a long one... see, I told you, this is my life) :-)
